FamilySearch Memories - Writing Life Stories of Your Ancestors and Others


This lesson covers creating stories (long and short) in FamilySearch for Memories. Our goal is to demystify this process and show you how easy it is to create stories that bring your ancestors and their world to life. We will explore how to find stories in the FamilySearch Tree.  Then we will describe the process to create a story.  Finally, suggestions will be provided on writing good life stories.

Organizing Your Stake and Ward for Temple & Family History Work (February 11, 2025)

Many of us who work to facilitate temple and family history work in the church serve within the umbrella of stakes and wards/branches. To be effective, the stake and ward leaders need to follow the Temple and Family History guidelines in the General Handbook.  This class will take us through those guidelines and provided suggestions as to how to implement effective temple and family history programs at the stake and ward level.
